3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA). When you access this website, the server automatically collects information in so-called server log files (IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, time of request). Vercel operates a global edge network, with EU requests preferably processed through European servers. Legal basis: Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in reliable presentation of my website). A data processing agreement (DPA) with Vercel is in place.

Media content on this website (images, videos) is served via Cloudflare R2 (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When loading media content, your browser establishes a direct connection to Cloudflare servers, transmitting your IP address. Cloudflare operates globally distributed data centers (CDN), with EU requests preferably processed through European locations. Legal basis: Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in performant delivery of media content). A data processing agreement (DPA) with Cloudflare is in place.

4. SSL/TLS Encryption

This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the lock icon in your browser's address bar. When SSL/TLS encryption is active, the data you transmit to me cannot be read by third parties.

Umami Analytics (Self-Hosted)

This website uses Umami, a privacy-friendly, self-hosted web analytics solution. Umami runs on my own servers in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen). No cookies are set and no personal data is transmitted to third parties.

Data collected includes: page views and visit duration, referrer, browser type and operating system, country (without precise location). Not collected: IP addresses, cookies, device-specific identifiers or other personal data. Legal basis: Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in analyzing website usage).

7. Contact Form

When you contact me via the contact form, your details (name, email address, message) are transmitted to me by email for processing your inquiry. Immediately upon receipt of your inquiry, you will receive an automatic confirmation to the email address provided. Emails are sent via my own SMTP server. Your data is used exclusively to process your inquiry and is not shared with third parties. Legal basis: Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures). Your inquiry will be deleted after final processing, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

8. Error Monitoring

To ensure technical functionality, I use Sentry (Functional Software Inc., USA). Sentry automatically captures technical error messages (error logs) that occur during website use. Technical data such as browser type, operating system, and the accessed URL may be transmitted. Personal data is not intentionally collected. Legal basis: Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in error-free operation).
